Still Waters Posted August 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2012 With its small, low body and thin tyres, this sports car doesn't look anything like the powerful, expensive models of today. But this stunning vehicle is most likely their inspiration as it is believed to be the world's oldest Ferrari. The 1947 166 Spyder Corsa has recently been unveiled for the first time since being completely restored. http://www.dailymail...l-5million.html

StarMountainKid Posted August 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2012 I think most classic autos are owned as investments. On the other hand, I can understand one-of-a-kind and rare cars not being used as daily drivers. Usually, these kinds of cars sit around in temp controlled environments until the price goes up. It's good though that these cars are restored and displayed for posterity. Some autos are works of art.
