Firemen Rescue A Cow 'Stuck In A Tree'..

The 660-pound calf, called Sparkle, was discovered in a state of distress after falling down the ravine on a farm Sheriff Park, near Penrith, Cumbria.

Fire-fighters were surprised to receive the call to rescue the 11-month-old bovine after its owner, Philip Armstrong, had noticed it missing from his farm.

When I first read the title I wondered how in the world does a cow get up a tree... ...Poor thing, I'm glad it got rescued. It's got a sweet face.

There's no proper photos because it was later discovered that the "cow" was two Special Branch officers on surveillance duties. Top secret.

It was a Government "Work Placement Scheme" to get minorities into employment. Sadly, the sheep was lying about being a roofer.
