Just to let you know that The Crocodile That Wasn't - a book by Peter Hancock about a traditional Australian Aboriginal story of a battle with the giant prehistoric lizard Megalania - is now available on amazon.com. It featured on The History Channel's Monster Quest series and is well worth a read if you like reading between the lines of myths and legends!

The name of the book is a bit too innocuous btw.

A true story like this needs a much more captivating and garishly schlocky title like, I don't know, Terror at Swan River or Claws: A Nightmare from the Dreamtime
