Still Waters Posted October 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2012 The Russian space programme's Mission Control Center says it will move the International Space Station into a different orbit to avoid possible collision with a fragment of debris. Mission Control Center spokeswoman Nadyezhda Zavyalova said the Russian Zvevda module will fire booster rockets to carry out the operation Thursday at 07:22am. Moscow time (0322 GMT). The space station performs evasive manoeuvres when the likelihood of a collision exceeds one in 10,000. http://www.telegraph...ith-debris.html

TheMolePatrol Posted October 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Haha! Woodsy has demonstrated time and time again he doesn't help with trash at all, rather he triggers off psychological conditions such as hording (due to molestation of the victims/patients when they are children). A rather obscure Bassoon Posted October 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2012 maybe they should have orbiting solar powered electromagnetic structures. Sounds outlandish I know but maybe it would clear the smaller pieces of debris.....
Ghost Ship Posted October 6, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 6, 2012 Soon there will be no safe orbits. Only imminent destruction. Objects will have to skip around orbits like mad!
