lizzieboo Posted October 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2012 This isn't mine, but it's such a wild coincidence (synchronicity?) that I just happened to find the following abbreviation in an article I was editing today: The term, spelled out, is "monomannosyl dioleyl glycerol conjugate" The abbreviation is--I kid you not--manDOG.
