Indiogene Posted October 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2012 Oh No...this is downright tragic. The 0-2 A's pitcher Pat Neshek returns on the mound after mourning the loss of his newborn son. They did poorly in the first round AL division series in part of Pat's personal loss and he will try to win on Tuesday when the A's play at home against the Detroit Tigers who has Miguel Cabrera the first triple crown winner in 45 years. My prayers go out to Neshek and his baby son. http://aol.sportingnews.com/mlb/story/2012-10-07/tigers-vs-as-pat-neshek-son-death-alds-mlb-playoffs
Ashotep Posted October 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Feel for him, it can take a long time to get over losing a baby. Getting back in the game may be just what he needs but ultimately its going to take time.
