Infiltrating Area 51 (Threads merged)

Rushing outside the guards forced them face down on the ground for three hours at gunpoint and confiscated their film equipment.

Typical two digit IQ morons. I think if someone was going to 'inflitrate' Area 51, then they wouldn't go about it by politely knocking on a door and announcing their presence.

So what if they weren't supposed to be there, hell, the guards should have thanked them for demonstrating that clearly their defences aren't up to scratch if a group of reporters can make it through the supposed 'inpenetrable borders'.

I love them for doing this! It's funny yet serious, It's true, within a few days this will never have happened, it will be erased! And Area 51 will deny it all.

Chooky88: Area 51 houses Alien spacecraft and all sorts of other "unknown" things, they also test top secret air craft there. But that's basically a cover up for what really goes on there.

What made these morons think that they were exemptions to the rules? Did they think they'd get a break because they are from the UK? That would only make me want to bust they're asses even worse. Seriously do some research if you going to try and pull this. Area 51 has been overcome for years by UFO fanatics, tourists, and all around morons.

No one has ever infiltrated Area 51. They know about everyone who gets near the place with a camera and they see you before you will ever see them. Every time someone goes there with the intention of filming UFOs the security people are right on them immediately.

If I were in charge of the place I'd have moved the UFOs and aliens out of there years ago, because their cover has been blown.

Some people have even tried to fly over there and gotten jumped by jet interceptors flying out of God knows where. They have orders to shoot them down if they refuse to land.

Gee, that sounds familiar for some reason.

I think if there was ever anything there it would have been moved decades ago. It would be a smart move to keep the secrecy of the base up, as it draws people to try and investigate the base whilst keeping them away from others.

"The guards took no notice of them until one of the crew decided it was a good idea to stroll over to the hut and knock on the door."

BBC intelligence at its best.

Does anyone really believe there is anything left at Area 51 that might be considered top secret?

People from UK morons? If aliens did ever come to earth we would get wiped out because of the "shoot first ask questions later" attitude that the American government has. And you call us morons.

Anyone from anywhere who thinks it's a good idea to force their way onto a military base (of any country) isn't behaving in a very intelligent manner.

People from the U.K are not morons , that is too generalised and sorry if my previous post didn't make it clear that we have morons in our midst just as every other country on the planet has .

This was a moronic act though and one can only assume that it was perpetrated by morons.

Thanks for the apology, granted it's a stupid idea by anybody. But assuming we are all the same is abit harsh.

There is a lot of intelligence in the UK & US, and we arnt all like those seen on 'the only way is Essex' they are the true morons...

I you re-read my post you will see that I never said people from UK are morons. I stated "What made this group think they would not be arrested because they are from UK"? There are morons in every country for sure. This particular group made an unwise decision. Years ago the US Gov. made a decision to expand secured area around groom lake. In the 80's fanatics were allowed closer views of the base. As technology became better curious onlookers were able to get better video and photos. The US expanded the gates and security, as well as the fines and punishment were also increased. There have been many disappearances of former employees, Dr's, onlookers, etc. They are not messing around when it comes to security of this base. Although the advanced research has been moved to an even more secure location near groom lake and Utah, they still perform testing.

I've come in contact with plenty of people from UK. They are generally intelligent people. I also have friends from the UK. Be glad your country is not stereotyped this way. Whereas people from other countries watch news articles about Honey boo boo and can help but think the US is breeding morons. jk.

Nothing that they're looking for.

That's absolutely stupid of them.

Knowing what often happens just approaching the perimeter...they crossed anyway.

I bet that every single one of the them, if they ever try to enter the US again, will be flatly denied entry by US border agents.

Incredibly stupid publicity stunt.

Agreed, but at least they walked away from this stupid and alive.

When I was in the army, I heard of several instances of people who were shot dead for trying to get on military bases without permission. One time a kid was drunk driving and tried to ram his pickup truck through the front gate and was killed. Another time, there was a kid involved in some kind of protest who climbed up the water tower of a base and was waving some kind of banner. They shot him dead too.

These things do happen.

News articles?

Why would they need to move any secret government aircraft?. The place is guarded, no one is getting in, so why move it?

Even if the C.T's fantasies were correct, those places would also have guards, sooner or later people will try to get in there also just because someone posted it on the net.

Think they are afraid that UFO hunting civilians are going to get in?...I doubt it.

MPs didn't sound very observant either! People must remember this is the outer area of the highly classified but still has deadly force allowed if they think you're a real threat.

A few decades ago, if you got caught in bad turbulance near one area and ended up over the outer area headed toward the base in order to avoid crash, they were nice enough to surround you with armed black hellicopters that warned you if you don't go back you will be shot down within so many minutes. They told the pilot how to manuever out of the vacuum not to crash and how to get back on course out of the area.

They were only doing there job. The following year they increased the deadly force area to prevent this kind of accidental thing in the future. They know you don't accidently get there now and will shoot you down.

These stupid BBC guys were not within range to see anything of importance so they were not shot. I heard there have been instances, once warned and arrested if you go back you are shot. MPs only have so much patience with this type UFO media people in a classified defense area.

Where did you hear this?

I lived it with three other people and thought it was my last day on earth. We nearly crashed in a single engine plane but the pilot was able to fly out of the horrible turbulence into a calmer but restricted zone. I thought we were were going to get shot down then and there. They had us tracked so they knew we only headed that direction because we were in trouble and the pilot had been sending out distress calls. The copters followed us as they were receiving instructions of how to handle situation. We didn't know if we'd be taken in custody or be shot down. On the radio they warned the pilot never to come back to the area with tourists and that we were all very lucky as they escorted us out of the military zone. I still appreciate the fact that they let us go. They knew who the pilot was and I suspect that might have had something to do with the decision as well as a little girl who was an innocent passenger.
