+susieice Posted October 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Arlen Specter, longtime Senator from Pennsylvania, has passed away. What a political career he had though. He was on the committee investigating the death of JFK and also weathered the Anita Hill scandal. He turned from Republican to Democrat 2 years ago and lost his bid for re-election on the Democratic Party ticket. A lot can be said for and against him, but he lived an interesting life none the less.
