The Melbourne Shuffle (also known as Rocking or simply The Shuffle) is a rave and club dance that originated in the late 1980s in the underground rave music scene in Melbourne, Australia. The basic movements in the dance are a fast heel-and-toe action with a style suitable for various types of electronic music. I think everyone should learn to shuffle and shuffle at least once a day. with bells on Posted October 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2012 hey, nice clips.. im from OZ and i have never heard of the melbourne shuffle.. i was going to raves in the early 90's in Sydney and it was more like zombie dancing to music that had no rhythm and soul.. i love dancing and dance music, but no amount of shrooms could get me dancing to that techno music.. enjoyed the clips though.. cheers..
