Let them find fraud and Texas will find out how irrelevant their opinion is.

Considering how close this race is I think its a good idea to have outside monitors.

Don't see the point of this other than empty threats. There's no way Texas is going to vote for anything other than the GOP and everyone knows it.

In fact, it seems one to be one of those states pollsters really don't care about anymore, Result: known! The sensation would be if the Republicans won by less than 10%

How are they going to find fraud? They wont be allowed within 100 feet of the polling stations. The UN has no authority in Texas or any other state what so ever.

Precisely the point, Corp. It's almost certainly an attempt to gin up a protest against conservatives. But unless the laws of the US are set in abeyance especially for these "inspectors" they have no right to be within 100 ft of a polling place. No one is allowed to campaign or pontificate any closer than that on election day. This is why the New BPP's little thug patrol outside a polling station was blatantly wrong... Eric Holder should be impeached and indicted over helping lawbreakers.

Well the State Department has told the judge to sit in the corner and stop embarrassing the rest of the country.

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/264381-state-department-says-european-election-observers-immune-from-us-law

As it's noted these observations have been happening for ten years now and Texas has been fine with it.

It isn't close, you are being blinded by the MSM. Don't call me names till November 7th and then ask how I knew/\.

The fact that you would allow the most corrupt organization on earth, the UN, into our polling places speaks volumes.

Yes it does. It speaks to the US being part of the world community and being proud to show off their election process to the world.

Oil for Food program. Look it up and then address those that know far more than you son. LMAO. Any person who looks at the UN and writes "US being part of the world community and being proud to show off their election process to the world" and equates that with being a good world citizen is agonizingly uninformed. Oil for food was a billion dollar theft and you need to do a bit of study before you write crap like that. Go look at who is on the UN human rights council and decide.

There is a point, I guess, when one is to old or to gentrified to ever change their mind despite the proof. I guess that you are past that point and therefore beyond cogent conversation. Nothing anyone could show you or say, would sway your support for this failed president.

I'd like to ask you a question. If Obama shot Romney in the head on the White House lawn tomorrow, would vote for him on November 6th?

How you answer that question here is kind of irrlevant but how you answer it to yourself is very important because it will tell you if you have drifted into 1939 territory.

Let's see...

Bringing up a completely irrelevant matter in relation to the topic at hand. So does this mean everyone can judge the US based on its worst actions? We better shut up about the pipeline because them Yanks are going to bomb us and take our oil.

Ad hominem fallacy. And rather amusing given how over the top bias you yourself are.

You would let a murderer run for president? What kind of messed up political system do you have? (seriously Merc that was just stupid)

Then why ask the question at all? And I'm doing just fine in the 21st century. Just wish more people were as well given how eager they are to push back the clock. Besides FDR wasn't that bad of a president. And that's when American started to slowly realise there was a world beyond their borders.

Now perhaps we can return to the topic at hand Merc. Namely why are you so terrified that international observers, who have been involved in American elections for over a decade now with zero problems, will be quietly and peacefully watching how this election unfolds? If everything is fair and above the board then what's the problem? Just because you don't like the UN, or think they're evil, or icky, or whatever your deal is the fact for the matter is all they're doing is watching. That's it. They can't affect the outcome in any way. So where's the fear coming from?

Hmm, so you are not denying that the Food-for-Oil program syphoned billions into the personal bank accounts of Kofi and others?

The food for oil corruption is well known and again irrelevant to the topic at hand. Ten years. Ten years international observers have watched various American elections with no one giving a damn. Why is this time so scary?

Spoken like a true socialist. Regardless of your opinion, Texas has every right to block the monitors. Last election, we had dead people voting as well as people voting multiple times for Obama. Why no concern for that?

You don't foresee the UN favoring Obama, considering how left most of those countries are?

I'd like to see a list of all the locations they plan to monitor. Then see how the reports find problems. The UN is a sham organization that is run by thugocracies and used by various western countries as a fig leaf for their designs. It should be dismantled.

Oh wow, this happens all the time. Laws allow for observers. There are rules set in place. It's been happening for years all over the country. The observers aren't allowed to talk to the voters, can't get near machines, can't bother the poll workers, can't get near ballots or wear anything that can be considered biased.

The observers are and have been from all over the world. Nothing new just fear mongering.

You can contact the county election office or the secretary of state and get lists. Observers have to have permission. An individual cannot just hang out at a polling place all day long.

Still waiting for an explanation for the fear, other than 'grrr them darn foreigners!'. Do people actually expect that the UN monitors, who will be watching things and nothing more, are somehow going to rig the election so that Texas votes for Obama? And that everyone would accept this? Because that would make no sense at all. All this just seems to be a xenophobic reaction.

Fear? Who said anything about fear, it isn't fear it is the sheer audacity of that corrupt organization declaring that our elections must be monitored because we require a voter identify themselves. I'd like to know why you fear v=oter ID? You need to prove you are 21 to buy a beer but you can't flash some ID to vote? I know why democrats fear ID, it is because it slows down the cheating.

Monitoring that has been going on for ten years with full US government approval. Are you not getting that?

And I don't fear voter ID. I need to provide photo ID when I vote. But it should be provided by the government for free and it shouldn't be brought up right before an election. Better to do it in a year or so that way everyone can ensure that they get the IDs needed to vote.

Please, it has been brought up for years and years and years in every state and is now the law in the majority of states because we have been hammering away at it. The constant fraud the democrats use to get people like Frankin elected has repulsed normal folks and we are making sure it will be harder to do in the future.

This UN incursion is being publicized now because we can. We didn't have the power to do it before but the MSM went so far in the bag for Barry that the country is repulsed by the press. You guys are losing power because you have failed, miserably, in every respect and you are looking at a decade of obscurity. See Reagan and then double it.

They need do no more than make accusations. No one will question them and the left will jump on with both spiked heels... If the UN had ANY credibility for being impartial I'd welcome the oversight. They are anti American to their core.
