Lee Boxall missing 25 years may have been...

This case has been a great interest to me as I live in the same Village. Details below are about the teen going missing and new updates. 25 years later after the boy went missing woman have come forward about sex attacks

they suffered in the hands of the grave digger that happen around 25 years ago. Did Lee Boxall witness anything the grave digger did not want him too?

On the morning of 10 September 1988, Lee left his home in Cheam, to spend the morning, with his friend, window shopping in Sutton, Surrey.

Towards the end of the morning Lee told his friend that he might go to Selhurst Park to watch a football match. The two boys parted company in Sutton High Street. No-one has seen Lee since.

It is unknown whether Lee ever got to Selhurst Park. Extensive publicity efforts at the Park, by Lee's parents, who distributed leaflets all over the ground at the Park, no-one ever came forward to report seeing Lee.

Lee was 15 years old at the time of disappearance - he was estimated to be 5ft 8ins tall, with light brown hair, grey eyes and a dimple in his left cheek.

And some new updates...

A JAILED gravedigger who claimed to be a warlock to rape four girls is being probed over the disappearance of a teenage boy 24 years ago. Detectives acting on a tip-off searched church grounds where paedophile William Lambert, 75, attacked the children at around the time Lee Boxall disappeared.

It is alleged that Lambert murdered Lee, 15, after he stumbled across him molesting one of the girls.

Metropolitan Police officers are tracing youngsters who came into contact with Lambert before he was jailed in case they have information.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said yesterday: "We have been conducting inquiries in connection with a historic missing persons investigation. No arrests have been made."

Officers sealed off parts of St Dunstan's church in Cheam, Surrey, less than a mile from where Lee was last seen in 1988.

Lambert was jailed for 11 years last year for attacking four girls aged between 11 and 15 between 1985 and 1990.

He told the girls, who had personal problems such as abusive parents, he was a "warlock" who could pass on powers through sex, Croydon

They have been tearing our grave yard to shreds its hard for us to know if they have found anything just yet as they are trying to keep people away which I can understand.

Very interesting cold case. Has Lambert told Scotland Yard anything? Wow he was one sick SOB. Tell little girls he was a warlock just so he would rape them and leave them scared for a life time.

How are they connecting theses two cases...just that the disappearance occurred during the same time frame of the other cases, and in the same town, or part of town?

With so little info, the theory sounds kinda far-fetched to me, but maybe info came from a victim that a molestation was interrupted by a young boy. That sounds plausible because apparently, those other crimes only came to light just last year, and it was '90 that the last reported crime occurred.

As far as we know Lambert is not saying anything.

A witness has come forward saying they witness Lambert hurting the boy. The witness at the time was a young girl. Lambert has worked in the grave yard for years and used a shed there to abuse kids. Lee Boxall at the time had access the use the same shed.

The following article from '07 reported that authorities were looking into a possible connection between this case and the murder of Roy Tutill in '68, and possibly, to other murdered boys since then.

The perp was linked to the murder of Tutill in '99 by DNA.

Another boy, 16 year-old Kevin Hicks, has been missing since March '86, and Boxhall's disappearance is mentioned in the following article from '02 reporting on that case.
