I think your Freudian slip says it all. Glad you came out of the closet. Congratulations.

They were cranky because they knew Obama was going to win. Not sure how that refers to any closet or freudian slip. After being stuck in an environment where only tin foil hat wearing, hateful rush limbaugh quoting ann coulter worshipping racist fools could talk about politics it was nice to see them eating some crow. That's all. :gun:

My apologies, I completely misunderstood your post.

I was not hoping for a Romney or Obama win. To me, they are two wings of the same bird of prey.

Both are Crony capitalist...one sells his snake oil to the poor and middle class and the other peddles his "tonic" to the rich. I don't feel that my life will be any better or any more free regardless which one wins....

I'm not going to blow up or lose my mind over it...just disappointed that people do not understand the "fleecing" they are being handed...

I understand where you are coming from, trust me. I don't expect Obama to do diddly squat for me. But the lying, greedy, scheming neocons are staying out of the white house and that's enough to to make me sleep just a little bit better. In a perfect world we could vote for liberal libertarians vs. conservative libertarians.

All I know is that before Obama was elected I had lost my job, never had health insurance even when I was working, and my house lost WAY more value than it should have. That's on Bush.

In the last 4 years I've secured a job one in which I've received several generous raises and bonuses, my house has regained enough value to where I believe I could get for it what it's actualy worth for my area, I have health insurance, my BF is also back to work after being out of work for almost 18 months. In fact, I have NO friends out of work right now which was NOT the case in 2008. I even bought premium gas today for $3.25 a gallon.

I dunno, seems to me things are going pretty good now.

GWB didn't deregulated the banks..... that was done under the slick talking liar Bill Clinton.... funny how GWB gets blamed for everything that has happened poorly in America.

IDK either, maybe because we still expect the POTUS to sort of act like an ethical top cop when he knows some shady sh it is going on? Just because it isn't illegal doesn't mean its right. In that respect, from Iraq to Wall Street, Bush failed us all.

Clinton was advised the deregs could work wonders by our best economists, and if people played ethically they would have. Bush saw the abuses unfold and chose to do nothing until it was too late.

As much as I like you, and I do like you...Bush didn't cause the banking crisis and we were ruthlessly attacked by terrorists. Those are just facts. Moral Majority...Ethical Majority? Really what you are talking about is the Majority of the American People...who are...both...Ethical and Moral. In Washington...there aren't many ethics and morals?? If Clinton and Lewinsky are moral value poster children...then I am Jesus! And that's just one example. Anyway...I know you voted your heart...and when your heart is broken later this evening...my shoulder will still be here for you to cry on. :)

Romney is starting to struggle now... sorry brother, I have a feeling I may need to offer you my shoulder.

I think you missed my point regarding Ethics vs Morals. This is the graphic I'm speaking of... it rings true in many many ways.
