Barnabas Collins Posted March 4, 2013 #126 Share Posted March 4, 2013 My self-portrait. I couldn't really capture the handsomeness well enough. Sorry about that! How did I miss this? As one who deeply appreciates the finer nuances of the undead visage, I'm most impressed! It's exaggerated enough to be whimsical but still empirical enough to be unsettling. Very cool. Barnabas Collins Posted March 4, 2013 #127 Share Posted March 4, 2013 So much awesome in here, haven't got much to add. Nice foreshortening on the first drawing. It's tricky drawing what you really see instead of what your brain says things 'should' look like, you did a good job.
Barnabas Collins Posted March 4, 2013 #128 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Finished! Very cool Iron Man, I can almost smell the hydraulic fluid. Pity it isn't a 3D model, then you could use pepakura to print it out like a paper toy and wear it around...
Barnabas Collins Posted March 4, 2013 #129 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I've added another free paper toy to my website, it's a little Tic-Tac-Toe game, here's the link... http://ravensblight.com/HeadstoneTicTacToe.html

Barnabas Collins Posted March 5, 2013 #131 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Odd Requiem, that's a really wonderful painting, I love the use of color. I had previously supposed you were using an airbrush but you mention fumes... if these are spray paint I'm all the more impressed!
Odd Requiem Posted March 5, 2013 #132 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Barnabas, straight from the spray paint can. Thank you!

Barnabas Collins Posted March 9, 2013 #137 Share Posted March 9, 2013 I used a software called Game Maker, it's a bit limited and not really intended for making 3D games, but it lets you make games without knowing a computer language. And you can use your own artwork to create your own little world, it's kinda nifty.

Professor T Posted March 31, 2013 Author #140 Share Posted March 31, 2013 Have been working & sleeping.. Not much time to post nowadays.. Got me a Bamboo Tablet & threw this drawing together the other day... I must say that you can do with a Bamboo tablet so much more than what you can do with pencil & paper.. If any of ya'll art lovers are still resisting this new-fan-dangle technology my advice to you is simple.. Don't resist it.. Embrace it.. Introducing........ er, haven't really given them/him a name yet.. am leaning towards calling him yinyan.. Don't get in an argument with these two.. because while yin is giving you a barrelling, yan is taking a breath and working out what he want's to say so you wont get a word in at all.. Not that they argue all the time.. They are quite cool and hilarious at times, and have a few wicked routines that can only be pulled off by someone with two heads..

xYlvax Posted May 2, 2013 #145 Share Posted May 2, 2013 My most recent of sketches.. Seems Cthulhu called me with this one. Many of mine I cannot post, since they were gifts to loved ones and friends.. I do a lot of custom tribal tattoos now, but I still love to sketch and work with pastels.
xYlvax Posted May 2, 2013 #146 Share Posted May 2, 2013 (edited) A creation I'm rather startled of. It was meant to be a tribal wolf print, but I kept adding detail upon detail. When I sat back and actually studied it, I noticed the two phoenixes face to face and the whole dragon/bird face. With many of my tribal art-works, others started noticing other things in them.. There is supposedly another dragon within it. I just as now noticed how the "nostrils" work as bird a bird if you scroll down to make the rest disappear. I love to just sit down and work upon entities.. Create them as I see them. I love the profound effects they hold even on me. Enjoy Edited to add: If you steal my artwork, I will steal your soul.
