Still Waters Posted November 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2012 A rare white tiger escaped from its enclosure and attacked three employees at a Czech zoo. The incident happened on Thursday morning at the zoo in the northern city of Liberec. Lenka Markovica, spokesman for the rescuers in Liberec, said one man was sent to hospital with head injuries. http://www.dailymail...-Czech-zoo.html
Ashotep Posted November 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Unfortunate incident but when you work with wild animals stuff happens, need to make sure those enclosures are well maintained.

I just want to love on one...tiger or lion...just once in my lifetime. A friendly one. lol Probably be Number One if I had a "Bucket List". I just wanna rub his chin, and hug him, and do they purrr? Abramelin Posted November 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 24, 2012 I just wanna rub his chin, and hug him, and do they purrr? They purr after they have eaten you. Why is it that people keep thinking predators are creations of Walt Disney?
Q-C Posted November 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 24, 2012 They purr after they have eaten you. Why is it that people keep thinking predators are creations of Walt Disney? I've seen many many friendly Big Cats loved on by their caretakers. We all have, thanks even more to the I-net. However, I don't delude myself that any wild animal is warm and fuzzy. sarah_444 Posted November 25, 2012 #7 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Very good to hear it won't be put down and that the injuries were not life threatening. Things easily could have been much worse. I held a white tiger cub once, it's something I'll never forget.
xYlvax Posted November 25, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 25, 2012 I'm glad no one died. People have to remember that they're not working with something tame.

Chooky88 Posted December 1, 2012 #11 Share Posted December 1, 2012 So racist. If It was a black tiger I bet they wouldn't mention its colour!
Mistydawn Posted December 1, 2012 #12 Share Posted December 1, 2012 Can't even read this, I just don't think Zoos are any place for any animal.
redhen Posted December 1, 2012 #13 Share Posted December 1, 2012 I just wanna rub his chin, and hug him, and do they purrr? Tigers don't purr, they do make a funny sound called chuffing.
