Still Waters Posted December 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2012 Sixteen people have been hurt after an aquarium burst at a shopping mall in Shanghai. The thirty-three tonne tank which housed sharks, turtles and fish shattered without warning at the city's Orient shopping centre on 18 December. http://www.bbc.co.uk...-china-20850048

Ashotep Posted December 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2012 That's what you get for using inferior Chinese materials made by slave labor. Lucky no one was killed.

seeder Posted December 28, 2012 #8 Share Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) Gonna need a bigger tank... "CCTV footage has captured the moment a 33-ton shark tank burst in the middle of a shopping centre. Shoppers in the mall in Shanghai, China were showered with glass when the aquarium shattered, sending sharks and fishes out. Three sharks and dozens of turtles and small fishes were killed in the incident, while more that 16 people were injured" It is unknown how the tank broke (hammerhead?) and police have opened an investigation to find out what happened. http://www.independe...re-8431986.html but dont worry, the creatures were sent to a local restaurant who promptly cooked the lot Edited December 28, 2012 by seeder
