I started out as a believer before i started posting on here, but after seeing how much hoaxing, fraud, lies and bit©hing there is and the fact there is no proof and most believers go on minute shreds of "evidence", as I once did, I can only go by real evidence and there is none.

There is no Bigfoot, there is however, a big audience that have not gathered the same conclusion. That is the audience that fraudsters prey upon. I cant remember how many times i've heard that big news about proof of bigfoot is right ls on the horizon yet its all a mirage.

I wont be fooled anymore.

Sakari,

After reading danbell06's post, I hope you feel good about yourself, after pulling off your massive bigfoot hoax, that tricked so many people, and p***ing off exactly one individual with your evil deceit and lies.

Shame on you.

Why would anyone ever entertain the vaguest notion that this lying S.O.B. would be telling the truth, now? Get a life, people.

It's that proverbial train wreck thing, I just can't help but watch. I thought he made a huge score when he sold the fake Bigfoot suit in the freezer for $50K. Then later I heard he actually pocketed something on the order of $500K. I know the guy who put up the $50K was too embarrassed he'd been swindled to try and get the money back. I think the other money is speculation. Once the hoax is exposed you shouldn't be able to make anything off it, but fools and their money and all that.

Ah, so that's why he's back at it. He scored the first time, blew that money, now the bills are due again. I did find one believer that bought the story, but;that's all I've found so far. But I'm not looking to hard because frankly my dear, I don't give a dam....

I did notice when Dyer was showing one of his expedition on the web they were all driving around in Mercedes SUV's. Guest he still need to get that Corvette, huh?

If humans ever learned the first, second or third time, we'd be living in a different world right now.

Lying is easy to get away with over and over. There are examples in every area of life, not just the world of bigfoot.

It happens to everyone in one form or another: Politics, Justice system, adulterers, wife-beaters, children who steal from their parents, disreputable auto mechanics, wiki, thousands upon thousands of examples in every area.

Why not bigfootery? It is still wrong and disgusting, but not hard to understand success-- even with repetitive behavior.

Yep, in a perfect world no one believes a liar and a fraud or a hoaxer............but like the adage, 'this ain't no perfect world'. And some people will believe in spite of evidence and simple logic and reason, and that's really ok. I got my own beliefs, theories, facts, extrapolations of facts and conjecture........which are well reasoned, insightful, logical, well researched and yours are not. People are going to lap this stuff up so long as they cling to their own beliefs. That's not to say I don't try to respect a belief, but if you pro-port a certain belief then you should able to defend that position in a debate/discussion in a civil manner. If you can't then you obviously don't understand the point or belief you hold. I know on many occasions I have had to rethink a position because in the course of a discussion a point was made or something was said that I'd never considered before or even thought of in one case. When that happens then you need to stop and consider. Trouble is too many people simply want to hold onto the belief they have because it's now comfortable for them to believe. Then along comes someone with that glimmer of something new and bang, your world just changed.

If I had to pick between a Mercedes or a Corvette, I'd pick the former as well. German quality engineering after all and way more fuel efficient. He might have gotten his payout after all.

Corvettes have suspension system liken to a horse drawn wagon from the days of the Prairie Schooners. I lost what little faith I had in "German Engineering" when my Audi 5000, AKA "The Death Mobile" took off on me while the car was in park. To save myself I had to jump from the vehicle before it slammed into a group of trees. When I reported what happened to the Dealership I was asked a ton of questions, very specific, very detailed as you might expect from a good German company. Two weeks later I received a registered letter from Audi telling me that basically I was a stupid American who couldn't tell the difference between the brake and the gas peddle........Und! I had no idea how to work a gear shift, this was the beginning of the problem when Audi simply went into denial that nothing was wrong with the car and that all Americans were lazy and trying to get money out of them. However, they made seventeen changed to the mechanical and electrical system to prevent the car from doing what it wasn't supposed to be doing at all. "German Engineering" can kiss my white Irish a$$ in the middle of Macy's window at rush hour.

Not only that but they sent a letter telling me that if I went public they would seek to apply all legal means to any defamation they felt they incurred, so naturally I sent them a letter informing them when I'd be on the local TV......and showing the letter they sent me. They offered to buy the car from me at a significantly above Blue Book price, but I had to drink a big glass of ****.

I spit on "German Engineering".

:td:

Are we in a bit of an aggressive mood here? To be honest I'll go Toyota truck any day of the week anyway, these things are virtually quite indestructible. I've literally used up two of them and considering the abuse they got, it's amazing how long they lasted and how reliable they stayed.

Naaaw, just still holding a grudge. I do tend to hold grudges far too long, but it works for me........that was what? Twenty-five or so years ago and I still spit on German engineering and German management staff. However, I used to work for a Belgian company Bekaert Corp. I like the Belgians.......they still hate Germans.......no, seriously. I God, now I've got myself laughing and I must drive to work.

I just noticed this thread and I'm too darned lazy to read the entire thing, so I just read the last few pages. Is this Rick Dyer character connected to the Bigfoot in the freezer hoax? What did he supposedly do with the body of the one he claims to have shot? If this is another hoax, Rick Dyer should be shot. I'm so damned tired of all the Bigfoot hoaxes. I know for a fact the encounter I had back in the late 70's was real but I have no way to prove it, except to myself. I'm not obsessed with finding Bigfoot, But I would kinda like to go back to the area of my encounter someday and spend a little time there and see what happens. Ya never know.

BTW, Sakari, I just took a trip through the Sakari Memorial Page. It was very interesting and brought back many memories of several years ago when I had a female wolf. I got her as a pup and named her Miacha (Northern plaines indian name for prarie wolf) I had her for eight years and then she just disappeared. I have my own thoughts as to why she disappeared.

Sorry to say but dyer is the 2008 freezer boy and he has hoaxed again.

The list of hoaxes hes perpetrated has peaked yet again. He'll be back in another couple of years with another hoax to fool the masses and get a few clicks on his website. He has to hoax as i doubt he has any skills to make anything of his life.

Thank You, and I am truly sorry for your loss......Pretty name, and we both know how special wolves are :)

You did get the gift of her presence for 8 years. Sharing your life with hers I am sure has a bunch of happy memories.

" Sakari " ................ Sakari's language of origin is Indian-Todas. The name Sakari means 'sweet one'.

Maybe Dyer got his money from his new McRib slogan:

"Our McRibs are rarer than a bigfoot peeing behind your tent! Get 'em while you can!"

Minnow Films Statement.

In production: Shooting Bigfoot

Minnow Films for BBC

A fascinating and touching portrait of men who are obsessed with monsters and their adventures to find them.

STATEMENT:

We are aware there has been a lot of speculation about this documentary. We will not be releasing any further information about the film prior to its screening at Hot Docs in Canada at the end of April. However, we can confirm that it includes Rick Dyer, Tom Biscardi, Dallas and Wayne, and it contains some fairly dramatic scenes filmed in the woods.

Fairly dramatic?

This must mean Dyer has a bigfoot body.

I am now a believer again.......

Ha! and Santa claus iis my Dad!

Can't wait to see the documentary and see how they tear apart the farce that is the bigfoot community.

Sorry to anyone who i may have offended with this, but what is with this comical "culture"?

I am actually embarrassed to say i, up until recently, believed in this make believe creature.

People are laughing at believers and ridiculing them for this.

Its a total joke that men, some the same age as my Dad, are running through the forest hoping to catch kill or see a bigfoot dont take into consideration the absolute lack of proof that is put forth for bigfoot.

If my Dad was "a bigfoot hunter" I'd think he had serious mental issues!

The invisible man does exist though. I have hundreds of photos of him.

One wonders what exactly they have in mind? Sort of like the first version of "Casino Royale" that was a comedy rather than a serious Bond movie. Could be their going to set everyone up for a huge sting that believes or it's some other thing. Personally, if they did have a real body I seriously doubt Slick Rick could keep his mouth shut about it. He claims it's there but he can't talk about, but there he is talking about how he can't talk about it.......because it's a secret.

Now, if I wasn't incumbered by the need to earn a living then I might well spend some time looking for Bigfoot. I like getting out in the woods anyway so the time spent looking wouldn't be a wasted effort as far as I'm concerned. And if I did happen upon one, then shooting it and bringing it out would be a priority for me. Shoot, I might get lucky and pop a guy in a Bigfoot suit.......fate can be a bear at times.
