Still Waters Posted January 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2013 A dog that piled on the pounds when a fear of open spaces left her unable to go for walks has lost half her weight after undergoing counselling. Border Collie-cross Lucy ballooned to 5st 3lbs when her 'nervous character' prevented her from going outside for exercise. But the three-year-old has now slimmed to just 2st 9lbs after completing a training programme that tackled her 'behavioural problems'. http://www.dailymail...oing-walks.html
Keel M. Posted January 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Bet her first owners are the source of that fear.

Ashotep Posted January 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2013 We had a dog when I was a kid that was deathly afraid of lightning and thunder. We were her only owners and have no idea why she was like this. We would let a full grown German Shepard, that was usually a outside dog, in the house. She would sit on your lap, give you a frightened look and lick your face and whine.
