I Work in a Nursing Home...a ghost?

I am now working in a Nursing home .There is an empty room where I sometimes crash to make phone calls or call my boyfriend. Last week, I stepped inside to make a call and a woman was sleeping in the bed. I said, "Pardon me," and left. Apparently, a new resident moved in. I went to the nurse to tell her the new resident needed a nameplate.

"What resident?" She replied.

"The lady in 455."

She wrinkled her brow. "No one has been in 455. She died over a month ago."

We returned to 455 to find an empty bed.

Perhaps being preoccupied with your phone/thoughts, you walked into an occupied room thinking it was the empty one? If not then cool story one to tell the grandkids.

It happens. Especially in nursing homes.

I was not surprised when it happened, for some reason. I was alone.

It could be my imagination, too. Regardless, it was rather surreal.

Indeed. In the 20 years I spent working in Nursing Homes I can say I have a handful of akin experiences. If there was residual spirit energy that is a environment it could manifest in.

I've worked in a few hospitals over the years and the things you experience or that happen to others are pretty common for that sort of building.

Hospitals house sick people, some die so suddenly maybe they don't realize they should have crossed or others may have lingered with something like cancer and they still hold onto the life they should have had plus all the emotions put out by grieving families and both physical and emotional pain by current patients.

It makes sense that energy would get caught there.
