I learned today that if you sit on the bath plug hole while draining the water away... it's quite a thrill.

That pesky kids can ring and leave voicemails on your phone at all hours of the morning! I would still be asleep if it hadn't of been for those meddling kids! :D

Today I learned that just because the builders have moved heavy machinery on site, it doesn't mean that they're going to start work on my indoor arena!

I learned that the band Paramore is a manufactured product of a major label, the original intent being to have Hayley Williams (a then 14 year old) be a solo pop artist on Atlantic Records. After deciding to do a rock band route due to the singer/families choice, Atlantic put the band on a more rock friendly label, while still having the singer signed to Atlantic. While it seemed that the band's sudden rise and burst to stardom was a lucky fluke, it seems it was planned all along, and the Warped Tours and MTV videos were coerced by big money.

All in all, interesting stuff, but still a really good band.

Check my heels before leaving the rest room at the shopping mall.....hauling a long trail of toilet paper behind you isn't good for one's image. B)

Today?

Well, I learnt today that no matter how enticing and delicious something looks, you have to WAIT till it cools down or you'll end up burning your taste-buds to oblivion and ruin what was going to be a great dinner.

I learned that someone who feels the need to prove how much smarter they are than everyone else in the room, is most likely to just be a guy who's had too much to drink.

I've learned to check song lyrics before belting out a tune in someone else's presence....butchering a song in front of someone is not cool

I have learned that, before you actually take the cylinder head off of your riding lawn mower, because gas is coming out of the exhaust and catching fire, and ask the experts on the Lawn Mower forum what is wrong with it...that maybe you should go ahead and ask the experts first, so that, when they tell you it is the carburetor that is the problem and not the cylinder head, that foolish feeling will not be so strong....not to mention half a day wasting figuring out how to take the cylinder head off...and probably another half day figuring out how to reassemble it.
