New species of flying frog confirmed

A new species of flying frog has been discovered less than 60 miles from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Jodi Rowley, an Australian biologist, and her Vietnamese team were conducting an amphibian survey between two patches of lowland forest in the middle of agricultural land criss-crossed by farmers and water buffalo each day, some 56 miles from Ho Chi Minh City, when they made their find.

I truly hope that enough effort and money can be utilized in thoruoghly studying such areas around the world, before the native humans or outside interests deforest.

So much seems to be there. New species of plants, bugs, animals, etc.., possiblly new medicines derived from those studies.

Next they will be telling me pigs can fly. Then I'll have to stop saying 'when pigs fly.'

I think its nice she named it after her mother.
