6 minute sci-fi short earns student Hollywood

Believe it or not, the video you see above was created by a single person. It looks like a professional production, but this is the work of 22-year-old student Kaleb Lechowski, and it has earned him the chance of creating a movie.

The short is called R’ha and it was created as part of Lechowski’s studies at the Berlin Mediadesign Hochschule. With the exception of the audio, this is all Lechowski’s work, and it stands out because of how professional it looks. Not only are the characters believable, but the exterior shots and effects are something you’d associate with a team of artists spending countless hours creating.

The story, at this day and age and at this point in its creation, may seem a bit generic, but it looks visually stunning.

That is pretty impressive but the story is still quite skeletal. The kid has an awesome opportunity at getting it made into a movie.
