freetoroam Posted January 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2013 looks a bit rickety, and a touch dated for the times: The German scientists of World War 2 first created a rocket that reached space. The German V-2 (the A4 rocket weapon) was launched during World War II. According to test records, the first rocket to reach "space" was likely the fourth test launch on October 3, 1942. But i must say as a toy, it was probably fun. I WANT one too.

Order66 Posted January 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2013 It's a far cry from that to Marty McFly Marty McFly took the hoverboard back to 1955 where scientists found it, then reverse-engineered it to create the technology of the hoverboard which Marty would find in 2015. The grandfather paradox ...

+OverSword Posted January 24, 2013 #11 Share Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) I don't need a flying car, I'd rather have the jet pack! Edited January 24, 2013 by OverSword
Taun Posted January 25, 2013 #12 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I don't need a flying car, I'd rather have the jet pack! Did you ever notice that when they were zooming along with those jet packs -without goggles - that the wind never seeme to affect them?... At least the bad guys were smart enough to wear eye protection...
