Lasts for only six months. So you need to get revaccinated every six months.
Gary Meadows Posted January 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Keep that away from me! I need a drink.
Simbi Laveau Posted January 28, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 28, 2013 It's stupid on many levels . I could see it having applications for people in a ten step program ,but aren't there already pills that do the same thing ? Unless its for people who forget to take their pills . Dunno. Everyone knows what I think of vaccines so....I'm dubious at best .
+and-then Posted January 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2013 There are pills that do this but they have to be taken daily and if a person decides in a moment of weakness to say screw it! The pills are useless. If a person took the shot then they would HAVE to be careful about consumption. Alcoholism kills - and anything that can help a person trying to quit is good imo. A person who wants to go on a binge a few weeks after quitting but doesn't because of this medicine might not ever drink again if they could go 6 months without a drink. If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's cause I DO
Frank Merton Posted January 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Gee I must've been born vaccinated; it takes about one and a half beers to have me vomiting up all of last week. Before that happens I turn beet red and glow in the dark. There are some people, I guess, who just can't handle their liquor, and I'm one of them. Alcohol is fun in the beginning but, oh my.... it can be a curse later on.

Yes. http://www.unexplain...alcoholism&st=0 I saw it on the news this morning .There are current articles because of some new testing going on in Chile ,but they were vague . That article was the most comprehensive ,so I used it even though it was old .
