Can Ghosts come through the computer?

An interesting eperiment to try may be to take an old blank 3 1/2 in disc into a cemetary and place it on a grave and ask for communication. Then wait a few days and see if anything is on the disc. I always wanted to try leaving a tape recorder running on a grave overnight and see what happens. I did leave a tape recorder in my attic once which was a creepy place and we had acually once found a box of cremated remains in from previous tenants. The only thing that I really hears was traffic sounds from the street below.

Gad, what a silly topic. If you open yourself to evil, evil happens, simple as that. If you surround yourself with it, don't be surprised what you open up. There are earth bound entities that can be very very nasty. Why do you think the world is in such a mess? people indulge in violence every chance they get. Well there have been cases of spirits manipulating objects from beyond their own period of living but nothing as sophisticated as a computer unless they are from recent times. Even then they would have to know the email address or instant messenger of someone who they wanted to contact. I have came across a few examples of emails being sent from loved ones who passed on (their credibility is of course difficult to ascertain). It would certainly mean the spirit has a vast wealth of sentience to do such a thing and if they were to 'stick around' as it were, they would almost be living if they could perform such a feat and could just seek out who they wanted to talk to. It may be a 'last act' before moving on where the energy is high with their recent departure, it's all bizarre to comprehend the rules of the dead.

Regarding whether they can come THROUGH the system of a computer, who knows. Ouija practise can 'invite/attract' beings into homes or to follow a person, the particulars in terms of where the limit lies in their ability to roam is hard to tell without deep study and personal accounts being listened to with detail. Whatever makes ghost sighting conjure up, whether it be emotional energy, the right conditions on the material of the location, electronic energy, maybe that can be related to the things that connect the computer to the internet/electrics similar to a TV or radio etc.

EVP can be picked up, folks claim to have recorded things on white noise and the internet is like a new dimension so to speak with how we connect and access information and transmit emotions and meaning in words and media, very much in its infancy. Like photos can capture ghosts and strange phenomena maybe 'internet' taps into that recordable and unseen to us paranormal vibe? So it is an interesting concept and maybe people have overlooked the advancement in technology with hauntings. Could be residual, visitation or attracted by such things. Different types of entities, not just human spirits or animals, may be attracted by different things too.

IF ghosts are real, and IF they can travel through electrical, sound or light waves coming off a monitor or TV, I don't see why they would be limited by the type of show you're watching. Cursed video? Nah. Ghosts would be hanging out with what they like to watch and would come flying out no matter what's on the screen. Watch a Youtube vid of a cute kitten and you'd probably get the ghosts of little girls and divorced women who refuse to grow up.. something like that.

So I watched this spooky movie on Netflix called Pulse.

Well in the movie people get a virus that dials them into the site automatically.

It's a site that tells you do you want to meet a ghost.. and a video of a ghost appears.

Later the ghosts come into the real world???

I've been reading about cursed videos and creepy pastas online...

It is generally thought amongst experts that ghosts feed off electricity to get energy.

That explains why electrical equipment often inexplicably fails in haunted buildings.

if what you say is true ( and it does make sense ) then how far are we away from ghosts driving MMORPG charicters and interacting with gamers in a full function cyber world

Perhaps AI in games are controlled by bored spirits who sign up to xbox live in some phantom way, that is why some are so terrible in attempting to help you, running into walls and spinning around aimlessly, it makes sense considering they're so used to floating on through walls and not being confined to any rules in particular.

OK, so someone mentioned ghosts "feed" off electricity. Where does the electricity go? Into their ghost tummies? I don't get how statements like this can even be made, when no one has even provided credible evidence for the existence of ghosts, much less their feeding habits.

The video when I connected the camera to my computer, caused random images to appear, including a black and white photo of a little girl looking sideways into a mirror. I deleted all the images, but after that my computer would sound as if it was typing on its own at night, I would check it again and again, but I couldn't get the random typing to stop. The camera began getting more battery life on its own, and I saw electrical fields outside my house, what you would call ley lines. The item I threw away, but I still kept getting pictures show up of a field in WV. The item was bought at a thrift store, the thrift store is gone now. Or re-arranged, I can't find it. And the item is gone. And the nightmares/sleep paralysis has finally stopped.

I don't understand the thing about ghosts feeding off electricity and all that. I thought ghosts were spirits of the deceased. Why would they mess around with electricity? How would they do it?

Another thing that is slightly related: Some people say that ghosts cannot manipulate physical objects because they're not in a physical body and at other times it seems they can. This also confuses me.

That aside, if you believe in ghosts, do you also believe that ghosts retain every ounce of intelligence they had before death? Because if you yourself as a living breathing human being could somehow jump inside a computer to travel to the computer of another person, you're betting on a lot of luck and also knowledge of how to get around within the wires and bits of data flying around at a phenomenal speed. The luck comes in because not every single bit of data flows in the same direction when being transmitted through the internet. A few bits here and there may fly off in a different direction and only at the other end do they become a cohesive unit once again.

Pulse is nothing compared to Ring (original Japanese version). That one made me see faces on empty TV screens for years (those box type TVs with reflective screens).

I did like Ringu the Japanese version... The Grude American version was good. I still have to see the Japanese version still.
