A Christian Dilemma

I try to plant a seed

it gets killed by weeds

for so long

I was blind

now I see

try to shine a light

it gets thrown into the sea

seen and heard

what could become of me

I am thankful

for the wisdom

given by He

I work my way

through the world today

dodging the traps and snares

of the vipers out there

the good thing is

I can still share

in the beauty of

the people that care

[Ever Learning]

remember you are yet to reap,

even though the climb may seem steep.

The path you walk on is very thin,

but you walk it not alone but led by him.

fight the good fight

Our path twists and turns

while our hearts and minds yearn

for desires out of mind

til we're lost to time

and the end becomes dust

and all treasures rust

yet His way leads to life

with joy boundless and no strife
