Introverted poetry

Ever Learning

Recommended Posts

im ever day dreaming and in a world of my own,

unlike extroverts my thoughts arnt always expressed,

im missed out, im left feeling alone.

a strangers eye contact is hard to keep,

shyness taken as rudeness,

is enough to make an introvert weep.

i prefer an intimate gathering as opposed to talking in group,

altho my opinion is ready,

my words falter

and my eyes begin to droop.

when asked my opinion, ive forgotten my thoughts.

in attempt to have all eyes off me

i give my opinion in short.

ive rushed my words, their meaning not understood.

their eyes pass on and im left regretting not saying the eloquent words i should.

my thoughts are still my own with no one to blame,

the simpleton who doesnt talk

shall ever be viewed the same.

My apoligies for getting emo on you :)

Terrific verse Armchair! If isolation and how it makes you behave and feel can be worded, you have done it!
