Researchers say that the treatment should be considered for hundreds of other chimps that have been used in scientific research. Many scientists have fought long and hard to stop testing on primates because it is almost identical to testing on humans. Although it has provided an incredible amount of knowledge it is cruel knowing what we know about primates and it is time to move past using them in research.
