Meat in China, and the US, Has a Drug Problem

Back in 2005, when I was a reporter based out of TIME’s Hong Kong office, I spent more time than I care to remember in the backyard chicken farms of Asia. This was the time of the H5N1 avian flu, which broke out regularly in chickens and occasionally (with fatal effects) in human beings and which always seemed to be one click of the genetic lock away from threatening the entire world. To prevent that mutation from happening — one of that would have allowed the deadly H5N1 virus to spread easily from person to person, like a human flu virus — health officials in affected countries would do their best to track and eradicate outbreaks as they occurred in animals, often by simply culling an afflicted flock.

Even Russia bans US beef. It's all a vicious cycle however.

Europe had mad cow and horse meat ,so its all the same ,no matter where you get beef,unless you get beer fed Kobe or Matsusaka ,beef ,which now probably sets off a Geiger counter .

In India ,they feed cows neotame to boost growth .Neotame is aspartame on steroids .

Solution ,just don't eat beef .

Eum...apart from the fact that mad cow is a disease caused by an abnormal proteine and the chance that it has an effect on humans is extremely small..it mainly affects animals, which is why Europe invoked more strict testing on this.

And horse meat isn't a disease or an added anything .. it's even more healthy than beef and this generalization of yours makes it appears as if horse meat is suddenly in everything .. it's maybe 2 brands who deceived the consumer by not putting it on the packaging. Which is now also being checked and fixed.

Where as the US doens't really seem to do anything about it... And adding antibiotics routinely is different from checking for diseases and horse meat. Your comparison doesn't really add up here.

My point was,beef from Europe was banned because of mad cow. It caused wide spread panic,and people did die from it .

. Now its tainted with horse meat .

No one is immune from tainted meat ,either by accidental contamination,drugs ,or disease .

The USA does it for the same reason it does everything. Money

One of the reasons they're crying about drug resistant disease now,is because the entire population has been flooded with antibiotics given to our animals.

We all have Ingested so many antibiotics,germs

have mutated beyond most conventional meds.

Cows get hormones,steroid and antibiotics . I'd have to look up what they give pigs,but it's something .

Fowl gets feed with arsenic ,inorganic arsenic ,which is toxic ,and hormones .

Then we also feed cows candy,most of which is made with high fructose corn syrup,and fowl get gmo corn feed too.

Fowl feed Is made by drug companies in the USA.

Who makes antibiotics and steroids ?

Big pharma feeds our livestock .

Kids eat this crap from the time they are three .

You see eight year old boys with shadow like the need a shave. lots more hormonal disorders in young girls .

Why ?

You cant eat anything here ,that is animal derived ,eggs and dairy included ,that isn't rife with pharmaceuticals .

Money ,and the govt let's them do it to us .

So yeah,everyone has a beef problem ,but ours is self induced .

Needless to say they're crushing small true organic farmers ,with smear campaigns and closing raw milk farms and saying organics really aren't better for you

It's a joke ,and the joke is on us .
