Help in Identitying voice in Alien interview

Hello,

I kust saw for the first time the documentary of a suppose video of an alien being interview.

The video was delivered by a guy under as alias "Victor". The show host was by Steven Williams (Mr X of X-Files).

I am trying to find out who is the guy that interviews "Victor", cause the voice sure sounds like Robert Picardo (Doctor in Star Trek Voyager).

Is it Picardo?

That (like the other alien autopsy flicks) just screams F-A-K-E to me.

My advice to people who think this video is a hoax:

1. Buy copy of Area 51: Alien Interview (Re-mastered 2008 Special Edition).

2. Buy HD monitor.

3. Download Free Video to GIF Converter software.

4. Create animated GIF of alien interview footage.

5. Copy video frames from GIF folder in hidden "Temp" folder to new folder on desktop.

6. Use ACDSee picture viewer to view frames one by one using scroll wheel on mouse.

7. Watch movement of alien particularly eye and face movement and be AMAZED!

Thanks for all that advice .. but no.

WHAT is particularly amazing? If you have done all that stuff in a methodical, documented, repeatable way, why not simply post a video/gif of your 'evidence' instead of expecting others to go to that level of trouble?

If you aren't willing to do so, then folks might think.... well, I'll leave that for them to figure out for themselves.

So the argument is "because they have realistic eye and face movements it can't be CG"?

Then my god ... the Navi are real.

This person obviously thinks Gollum/Smeagol was played by a real person in Lord of the Rings...

Now THAT was the best CG I've ever seen in my life.

He was played by a real person with a motion sensor suit! Post processing gave us the Smeagol we love! He also based the voice of Smeagol on sounds made by his cat :w00t:

1. I ain't paying for any of this crap.

2. Pretty sure 90% of people would have them...

3. I ain't downloading nothing. Lets skip 3, 4 & 5 and just use Alt+Print Screen instead when it's at full resolution, save as a .PNG file or something else close to lossless. (By full resolution I mean native resolution, 480, 720 or 1080 etc. DO NOT SCALE IT UP TO FULLSCREEN - this will ultimately result in extrapolations which distort the original image.

6. Or windows picture viewer...

7. Wooooo something that looks pretty cool but is by no means AMAZING. There's no way to say it's not just good ol' CGI...

I know! It was a blue screen suit! I know he wasn't created from scratch, but it was still pretty amazing seeing how they made him look so different. Technology nowadays is incredible.

If I wanted to make an epic like that, I'm definitely getting the guy who made Smeagol/Gollum look so real.

I know this doesn't have to do with the OP'S post, but I never knew Andy Serkis based Gollum's voice off of his cat! That made me happy! I can see that now. As far as the video.....no comment....
