Still Waters Posted March 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Rosie the labrador was lucky to survive after impaling her head on a stick jutting up from the ground as she chased a ball. Eileen Brown, 62, and Pete Emerton, 56, who are both retired, were walking the eight-year-old Labrador cross Sunday afternoon when Rosie got herself into the sticky situation. Rosie was playing in a field close to the couple's home in Beverley, East Yorkshire and ran to fetch a ball. http://www.dailymail...ying-fetch.html

Frank Merton Posted March 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I once had a house on a hill, with a fence and then a considerable drop to the neighbor's yard, so it was maybe ten meters from the top of the fence to their yard. My cats would sit on the fence all day and look down at a pair of labs our neighbor had, and those dogs would never stop trying to get at our cats, although it was pretty obvious the cats knew there was no danger. This would go on for hours. I think the breed is naturally insane.
