ok, ive been looking at mostly audio technica but am open to other brands.

budget is 300 but I would prefer to spend less....

will definitely spend the 3 for higher quality though. its worth it to me

I mostly listen to electronic so bass is important.

aaaaaand go!

I don't spend anywhere near that much for headphones, but my first thought is Beats by Dr Dre. They seem to be top of the line kinda stuff.

What type are you after ? etc for jogging, relaxing, heavy beats, you might be better of to google top ten headphones then google reviews on the ones that take your fancy. :tu:

over ear, wired because I don't need brain cancer to go with my deafness

sonys seems like garbage with low frequency range im strongly considering the HD 598 the thing thats putting me off right now is the color

only other one i can reccommend are a pair of Sony MDR-1R. i dont think you NEED an amp with the sennheisers although for headphones like these they are reccommended for sound quality it comes with both the 6.3 and 3.5mm lines.

edit: nvm
