New Jimi Hendrix Album

I don't know how "original" these tracks will be on this album.

First up is “People, Hell and Angels,” a collection of a dozen previously unreleased studio tracks recorded in 1968 and 1969, sessions culled under the direction of the guitarist’s sister, Janie Hendrix, who administers his estate, and producer-engineer Eddie Kramer, who worked closely with Hendrix in those final years of his life.

Although I'll likely buy it, I'm willing to bet these are song's that Jimi had no desire to ever see the light of day.

At work so cant listen to the song. Review it anyone?

This song is a different version of the same song on "Crash Landing" album.

What, did Suge Knight buy the rights to his music or something?

  • 1 month later...

I heard a few tracks from this last month.. some of it was pretty great. I believe most of the profits from the sales will be going to the Jimi Hendrix Memorial park that's being built on Capitol Hill in Seattle. At least that's what his sister was claiming when I heard her interviewed on a local radio station.
