I love Michael Caine. He's great both on and off screen. Madness has a song about him. He speaks during part of it.

"Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch" are in my top ten list of non-Italian/Irish/Jewish gangster movies. As you likely know, real gangsters appear in those films. They give them more authenticity. Ritchie's mob flicks have a certain cool vibe that jibes with me.

Give Gangster No 1 a try detective,it stars malcolm mcdowell (pretty good actor) just imagine a english version of scarface/american psycho.I bought it with much lower expectations, bought it for 3$,turned out to be pretty damned good :tu: Well worth 3$ haha

Thanks for the suggestion. You can find cheap gems in bargain bins and mega stores. I bought a DVD with more than ten episodes on it. Like your recommendation, it cost just three green Washingtons!

It is a bit of a strange movie,if you buy it give it 2 or 3 viewings because it is needed to fully appreciate the story line.As i said well worth watching :tu:

Yes, it is Italian. I don't mind subtitles at all if it means avoiding a terrible english dubbing.

Just gives me an actual headache when trying, almost the same way when i was a child and tried reading while going down the road in a car haha.Sounds like a decent film, had heard about it before, soon as i get a few words down in Italian i will give it a try. Thanks for the reminder, have heard good things about it in the past just kind of forgot about it :tu:

I like some quirky movies. Films, by the Coen Brothers and Quentin Tarantino, are about as far as I go, though. Lynch flicks might be my own celluloid Rubicon. "Eraserhead" disturbed me for days!
