praetorian-legio XIII Posted April 2, 2013 #101 Share Posted April 2, 2013 10% of a billion is what? $100,000?? that's a shedload of cash in tax. 10% is a drop in anyone's ocean, rich or poor can pay 10% with even the most rudimentary budget. Not sure if anyone else picked up on this or not but......10% of a billion = $100,000,000 (thats one hundred million dollars) wish Wearer of Hats did my taxes

ninjadude Posted April 3, 2013 #103 Share Posted April 3, 2013 They already take much of the risk in creating jobs and providing product and services. Were that actually true we would be basking in huge numbers of jobs. In fact, what they really do is create jobs overseas. Not really the same thing. ninjadude Posted April 3, 2013 #104 Share Posted April 3, 2013 everyone should pay equally careful you're socialist attitudes are showing. For what possible reason would we want to give the rich a HUGE tax break by having everyone "pay" equally?
ninjadude Posted April 3, 2013 #105 Share Posted April 3, 2013 In good times, pay off the debt and sock-away as much as you can into a rainy day lockbox ($1 trillion). In bad times use Pay-it-Forward from the lockbox to ensure that it eventually is recharged. I thought you didn't like Keynesism?
