Red squirrels are rapidly evolving in response to global warming - they are the first animals in which such genetic changes have been seen. The discovery could bode well for other species struggling to adapt to new conditions, say researchers.

They did a story on frogs in Canadia a few years back that said they where the first creatures to change due to global warming huh.gif now Im cunfused..
