Hope everyone had a nice Easter. Going to have some Rigatoni with Alfredo sauce, and homemade meatballs, garlic bread and green beans. Some red wine to drink and hot cross buns for dessert.

Roast chicken, steak on the grill, baked potatoes, tossed salad.   I am feeling under the weather so I had creamy chicken and wild rice soup.

I went to a restaurant called Famous Dave's. It's a BBQ restaurant. I had a bbq pulled pork bacon cheeseburger, along with fries, Pepsi, and for dessert..... Banana pudding!!

I'm stuffed! ^_^

Perfect weather for a hearty soup.

What type of noodles do you use?

i am partial to a thick dumpling type noodle....kluski makes a good chicken soup noodle

speaking of kluski....id love nothing more than to make a dish southeast Ohio calls kluski.

its fried cabbage, onions, and beef kielbasa tossed with kluski noodles

however no one in my house eats it and i can only have so much due to diabetes... guess i can always have it without the noodles..but its not the same

We've used smaller egg noodles but found that they absorbed too much of the liquid so we stick with kluski noodles.  :)

I've never tried it.  I have gall bladder issues and am diabetic so I probably won't be making it any time soon.
