I made a really tasty chicken & tortellini crock pot meal. It had rotel tomatoes, cream cheese, provolone cheese, chicken broth, tortellini and chicken. I served it with a green salad. Next time I’ll use less chicken broth so it’ll be thicker. It was a hit, everyone loved it.

Slow cooking a brisket on a charcoal grill is good. It takes quite a few hours to cook. But it's worth the wait. :tu:

My late husband bought a new grill/smoker last year.   I'll have to figure out how to use the smoker and do some cooking on it this year.

I'm batching it for two weeks but I look after myself. Vegetable pasta with 8 different home grown veggies.

I’m fixing boneless chicken thighs in the crockpot, cooking it in the same seasonings as the Mississippi pot roast (au jus seasoning, ranch seasoning and pepperoncini peppers), I plan on adding some Yukon gold potatoes soon. Haven’t decided what else to fix, possibly corn on the cob or cauliflower.

I think about cooking something in the crock pot but I never do it, my aunt is the pickiest eater and only wants wendys hamburgers, spagetti and mashed potatoes, then when I fix it she won't eat it.    She wants cookies and gets mad at me when I tell her we can't eat cookies until we have our meal.   So even if she likes it she won't eat it and I can't treat her like I would my kids.   I have thrown more food away (I can't eat it all) in the last year and a half than I did the whole 20 years I had kids living with me.

Don't know if you like fish tc but if you can ever get eel to smoke it is awesome. I never liked the idea of eating eel but a Maori friend gave me some smoked and because it is an oily fish it smokes and tastes great. :tu:

Made more Marry Me Chicken, did not put the sundried tomatoes in, per my son's request.   Added some of the oil to the parmesan sauce, made mashed potatoes and salad.
