If you had, at 23 seconds in you would have heard the following: ...you would hopefully have, you know, a camper attached, so, another Mars transfer spacecraft perhaps, to give you more space A mission to Mars would not consist JUST of an Orion capsule. Unlike the ISS, which gets resupplied from the Earth with various cargo mission, a Mars mission will have to carry all of it's consumables with it. NASA will, by then, have the space launch system, a rocket more powerful than the Saturn V. Multiple launches will place components in Earth orbit, which will be docked together, before the final launch which will have the crew. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
