A Visit From The Master

She was less than the wind.

Fragments of leaves

brought in her scatter

but she would tidy up again.

Bent over, small.

Her fair hair covered her face.

Her fragrance was there

but then she was gone.

Tiny footsteps were in the lawn.

She was very old

sitting in the middle of the road

hunched over, crying.

They asked her what was wrong

she answerd she had no money

and couldn't get home.

Money came from everyone,

small amounts but enough.

She simply vanished.

Everyone agreed it was a good omen

and went home happy.

Don’t be silly, they are bitter. Jack Russells are too stringy and tough from all the jumping... Shut up you two *shakes tentacle at you both*

Lovely poem, SW. I like it especially since fairies are always on my mind and in my garden.

(He who cracks fairy joke now will be hunted down and will be... inked.)

temptations .... ahhhh the glorious test of the human spirit,

temptations .... the vagaries of fairies , such is temptations ....

I yield ... I tremble before the paint ...
