Have you heard of the Orang-Pendek? It's from China (I think) and it's supposed to be a small furry little man that lives in the jungle. Apparently they found skulls and DNA once, but I'll have to look that up.

I also think reports of dragons come from Asia occasionally.

Well there are the Mande-barung/Yetis of India who live on the tropical mountain slopes of India. There is a depiction of them killing a human. But Yeti is an already over-covered cryptid so I will go for the black dragon of Indochina :

Aside from this there are huge water monitors reported all over tropical Asia, reaching 12 feet for the largest.
