Commander CMG Posted April 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2013 I am beginning to wonder why I bought large screen flat TV’s for the house. Higher definition resolution picture quality amongst the benefits that add to a better overall TV experience. Ready and equipped to start to enjoy this experience, it seems that every movie I watch is made on an hand held (Blair witch) type video camera, juddering and shaking, cracking and fuzzy lines. I might as well plug the VHS back in.
Coffey Posted April 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2013 At least the fuzzy lines are in HD..... lol
ohio traveler Posted April 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2013 It depends on the programming. I have a large 60" HD set that looks great watching HD programming and even standard definition DVDs look really good. But the majority of the stardard definition channels through my satellite dish are only average at best. Those large screens really show the flaws in some channels. Must be something to do with the different bandwidths allowed for the channels.
