1968. Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina

...a large figure, standing in excess of 2 meters, blonde, hair combed backward with a friendly facial expression, stood a short distance away. He was clad in some sort of jumpsuit, light blue, covering his body from his neck down to his feet. Small luminous rays poured from his fingertips. In his left hand he carried a crystal orb that emitted bright beams of light. In his right hand he bore a ring, almost a gauntlet. According to the young woman, every time the being raised the gauntlet, “it was as though he himself rose into the air and remained suspended...”

The rod type tool is used in a lot of abductions for paralysis.

March, 1955. Loveland, Ohio.

Isnt it funny that ET seem to have just a little bit better tech than we do..... sometimes not even that.

If you go through the history of alien encounter reports (and people who claimed to have been in alien craft), you'll never read anything about the heads-up displays of our modern aircraft or anything that looks like a graphic display. The interiors of these space craft are always described as levers, lights and dials (dials???), exactly what you'd expect in a science fiction movie at the time of the report. Betty Hill's story of an alien showing her two dimensional "maps" of the stars the aliens travel to was a perfect example of something that made no sense.

The alien suits have a clear pattern. The post World War II space suits were closer to diving suits. Once we saw our astronauts wearing silvery space suits with bubble helmets, the aliens copied our fashion and reports of aliens wearing similar suits became common. Eventually aliens without any suits became the most common.

You'll never read a report of an alien carrying a conveniently-sized device like an iPod or a cell phone. Most aliens had bulky devices with knobs and switches (one report did have a device with a round television screen). One alien device commonly reported in the 60's was a "magic wand" which was used to immobilize people or zap them with thunderbolts if they were threatening. This was also straight out of earthly fiction.

er, not true. "...that she later described as a three dimensional projection similar to a hologram."

The alien pics in this thread would not even win an Under 9`s drawing competition.

No offense to the under 9`s.

What bugs me about debunkers and silly forums like this one is people will post dismissive statements that are not very accurate nor true in hopes of looking clever or they are too above believing in this or that. Common sense seems to also go out the window.

Most folks are not professional artist so the drawings or sketches are pretty raw. It would be nice if every UFO witness or CE III witness had access to a professional composite artist like you see in police investigations but unfortuantely this is not the case. In one of the cases (Kofu City, Jp) the sketch I think is by children becase it invloved children.

The Unexplained-Dismissive-Mysteries forums by smug know nothings.

May 15, 1951. Salzburg, Austria

Walking after dark, the witness was suddenly paralyzed by a being with a pencil like hand weapon, and then "pulled" (floating) after him to a flying saucer about 150 ft in diameter, where he was put in a transparent chamber and taken up with the saucer.

Interesting, notice another pointer tool or rod like device and paralysis.

Which she described as being a flat screen with a sort of three dimensional image but she only saw it from one direction and the points never moved. She didn't say hologram until someone suggested it to her which again shows how aliens keep ripping off our technology.

There were flat screens in 1961?

The truth is a variety of controls have been observed on alleged ET craft. Holograms have been described in variety of cases. It was alleged that the Roswell craft had very minimal controls inside like the beings some how connected with the actual craft. Sometimes a person will describe things the best way they can with what they are familiar with. It may not reflect what is actually observed. A person describing a Macbook 200 years ago may describe it was a magical contraption. Something that may seem like utter crude nonsense to you. On the other hand some devices you view as crude may be more reliable and practicle. Would you like to drive a car relying on a tablet computer App in place of a steering wheel? Even though an iPad is pretty reliable I don't think many people would like to rely on that. Maybe to control the radio or AC.
