Still Waters

Recommended Posts

A householder who called out an engineer after his TV became faulty was stunned to find a family of reptiles living in his cable box.

The engineer found a nest of what he believed to be snakes when he opened the Virgin cable box to investigate interference with television, internet and telephone connections.

There's a joke in there somewhere. How bad were his cable TV shows?

This is the first time I have ever heard of a slow worm.

I've heard of them before, and have seen limbless lizards before, you can really mistake them for snakes.

Here in the States we call them glass snakes, because when you grab their tails they come off. I had a hard time convincing my neighbor it wasn't a snake.
