Man finds chewing gum in a Co-op sandwich

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

A man was appalled when he opened a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich he'd bought at a petrol station - and bit into a lump of old chewing gum.

Alex Moughton said he felt sick after buying the pre-packaged BLT from the Co-op petrol station in Hopton, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, on his way to work.

The 21-year-old who works for Lound Plant Hire, is now sending the sandwich off to the Co-op as the supermarket giant launches a probe.

Bad move...keep the sandwich and tell the Co-op you'll sell it to them,or you send it to Health & Safety.

In the US....IF the claim can be verified, this story would be an attorney's DREAM :)

Only goes to show one should look at the food they are eating instead of just chowing right in.
