It wasn't obvious from the reporting the reason why the right-hand two emergency chutes opened inwards, pinning a flight attendant to the ground. It was hardly mentioned at all.

well thats because as you can see the engine is right next to the exit and evidence of a fire

why is this in the Modern Mysteries, New Age, & Prophecies section.....?

It shows how modern media, twitter etc, influences modern mystery crash investigations. Oh yes, it's also a mystery crash investigation.
