Interesting, it could be hunters and gathers were building these pyramids like mounds long ago, just like the mound found under the Sea of Galiee , a evolution of the pyramid.

It seems that from varioius studies of satellite images, that there are almost as many lost pyramids as there are one we know about. That some of these lost ones may have been huge is rather mind boggling. I think AE will keep us surprised and occupied for a long time.

It would be interesting to know how old these structures are if in fact they are man made.If they predate the Giza complex, how does that impact our view of the evolution of pyramid building?Where would the quarries be that they got the stone from to build these structures?
