MacsMom Posted July 18, 2013 #9 Share Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) I didn't even know Jerry Springer and Rikki Lake were still on TV. I would also add Toddlers & Tiaras and Dance Moms, and all of the Real Housewives shows. Hell, I even hate Say Yes to the Dress! MacsMom Posted July 18, 2013 #10 Share Posted July 18, 2013 What's wrong with Hardcor Pawn? It's a hilarious sit-com. It's gotten too predictable. Ashley and Seth fight, customers act like classless, demanding, nincompoops and get thrown out, and Les ultimately saves the day with his wisdom and experience.

I'd spice it up, maybe a few new cast members, maybe a new set.....
Asadora Posted July 19, 2013 #13 Share Posted July 19, 2013 I will concur: All of 'em! Except for Dr. Who, Defiance, Eastenders (British soap), Coronation Street (British soap), The Good Wife and Law and Order: SVU and Through the Wormhole - okay done now. Mantis914 Posted July 22, 2013 #14 Share Posted July 22, 2013 All the Seth McFarlane animation shows... and pretty much any show that starts off with a lot of female voices shouting "Woooo!!!"
supervike Posted July 22, 2013 #15 Share Posted July 22, 2013 I commend the folks that have given up TV. I wish I could find the will to do that. I actually PAY to have all those crap shows brought into my house. Then, if I do watch them, I have to suffer through Advertisements as well. What kind of messed up situation is that?

It's really messed up when some of the advertisements have better production values than the show you're actually watching. Right now, a royal baby is being born and people are still mourning the untimely death of a young Canadian actor that I'd never heard about. It makes little difference to me. seaturtlehorsesnake Posted July 23, 2013 #18 Share Posted July 23, 2013 All the Seth McFarlane animation shows... and pretty much any show that starts off with a lot of female voices shouting "Woooo!!!" wait wait. what are these shows that start like that? they sound awesome! i guess that awful semi-home made cooking show could go. it's so awful. but there's still a lot of good out there! it's just that the good shows get cancelled after one season is all. JesseCuster Posted July 23, 2013 #19 Share Posted July 23, 2013 [emphasis mine]I will concur: All of 'em! Except for Dr. Who, Defiance, Eastenders (British soap), Coronation Street (British soap), The Good Wife and Law and Order: SVU and Through the Wormhole - okay done now. Seriously? Of all the stuff on TV you could choose, you're including those miserable melodramatic soap operas? To each his own I suppose, but those are some truly odd choices considering some of the quality out there. There are some gems amongst the turds. BTW, someone needs to put The Simpsons out of its misery.

Sundew Posted July 23, 2013 #21 Share Posted July 23, 2013 All the Seth McFarlane animation shows... and pretty much any show that starts off with a lot of female voices shouting "Woooo!!!" Agreed, his animation is profoundly awful, plus a whole lot more adjectives I could add. Fox News. Kill it. KILL IT NOW! Being from England you may not realize that that is one of the few news organizations that counters what has "lovingly" been called the mainstream (or lame or mid-stream) media which outnumber it six or so to one. The more numerous liberal outlets are there for your news if you so desire. See my comment one above and substitute "the mainstream media" for "his animation" and that sums up my feeling for them as well.
