reverse argument

Recommended Posts

I did a thread several years ago. I think it went pretty good.

The rules are simple. You reverse your role in this thread. If you believe in god, you post things against him of being there. If you don't believe I god, you argue that he is there.

.

This might get moved. I don't but either way have fun and as always have fun.

no true believer in god would change their views for a game, christians at one point let crusades for their beliefs, i think this game is very contriversal

but ill play

everything is to perfect for god not to exist, to mathematical, it almost seems like everything is to connected to have been created out of nothing, like an intelligent mind had to play a part in its creation

What about people that don't really believe one way or the other? Can they choose either side to argue from, or flip sides at will within the thread?

If that is what you do normally. But your argument has to be oppaset of what you would normally say. This is a brain building exercise.

and the fact that the "god particle" was discovered, there is immortality in the world you just have to look in the right places, aswell there has been many digs and artifacts found that support tellings from the bible

Just wanted to mention that the erroneously named "God Particle" has absolutely nothing to do with religion in anyway. It is only referred to as the God Particle because the publisher of a book thought that it was a more marketable name than the "God Damn Particle". So named because it proved to be so god damn hard to find.

You may proceed.

meh, realised i couldnt type the opposite to my beliefs lol

this bible verse came to mind as i tried to take part out of whimsy.

English Standard Version (©2001)

Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in the Holy Spirit.

Huh, I'm not sure I can really participate then. I try to see all three sides of the coin, so I guess the opposite would be there is no coin. I like playing devils advocate and gods advocate depending on the topic. Though I do tend to be rather straight forward and serious when I comment- would cracking all snarky humor count for this?

well i thought it was stated that in order for god to exist or to be proven to exist he needed to be timeless and all knowing or something would have to exist to be timeless and all knowing hence the god particle

As this thread is just for fun, and could turn out to benefit many of us here, like walking in someone else's shoes, seeing the other side of the fence..........Ok I will be the Christian....

If only people would look around them and see, this world we live in, was designed by the hands of God... I feel that evolutionists are just misguided, and it's a shame they cannot see it when it stares them right in the face...You just need to look around you.. Just because you may ask - If God created the world, then who created God?... You should know that the answer to that would be beyond our comprehension, and it doesn't escape the fact that this world we live in has pure evidence that it has an intelligent designer.. I wish you all could see this.. We should be grateful god give us life and a beautiful planet to live in..

All god asks of you is to love him, serve him, and obey his commands ..

i must admit i did get excited the first time I heard a reference to the god particle but upon further examination there wasn't anything godly about it. as all particles and all things are from god, a single one couldn't bring one closer to god. even tho i cant seem to state the opposite to my beliefs, which slightly makes my past atheist assertions of god as a waste of time, as i cant even use them when pretending not to belief, i am enjoying reading the attempts of others in this interesting topic.

The Higgs Boson is just the particle that gives other particles mass. Just like the W and Z Bosons carry the weak nuclear force, gluons the strong force, photons the electromagnetic force, etc.

Has nothing to do with being timeless and omniscient.

indeed, i find the crusades were a good idea, we were pushed down and no one was wanting to litsen to us, so we had to strike with fear and punishment to make sure people conformed to our way of life

no one showed remorse when the jews killed our saviour

Your bible has no answers. The true word of Allah is only found with the pages of the Holy Quran.
