Thing is, though, since he's in line for the Throne, and they read out all their names at Weddings and Coronations, I don't think the powers that Be would tolerate Justin or Zayne. They'd have to stick to a prescribed list. Llike Harry; that's what he's known as, but his real name is actually Henry.

I wasn't thinking of names from teenie bop bands either... I was thinking of names like - James, Michael, Alexander,Francis, Peter and so on...

I hope they call him Darren or Kevin. 'King Kevin' has a certain ring to it.

Princ Christian Edin Leonardo Dzeko. That sounds great. Hope they go for it.

Oh no...it would be politically incorrect to name him Christian. :innocent:

I wish his real grandma could have been there for this. Congratulations to a lovely couple on the birth of their first child.

Can we name him Kong? Because then one day he'll be...

Nevermind. It'll probably be boring old 'George'. :)

well, james is a traditional kingly name, although, again, it doesn't have the best of reputations (James II was the only King to have been ousted in a coup at the request of parliament), but the rest of those would make some good names. traditional for Popes, and Tsars.

I would like to see the Media leave them alone after they pick a name,to let Kate recover but they wont.

Wouldn't you just roar if they named the little one - King James ..Bibles thrown in the air with with great cheer, to welcome yet another King James :P

I think this name sounds the biz - Francis Alexander James of Cambridge ..Hmm I like that one..Yes it has a nice ring to it... Francis is linked to Kates family tree, and I think Alexander is too..Don't quote me on that..

One has to bear in mind that he's scheduled to be King, so they're going to have to think whether it'd be a good historical precedent. In that respect, pehaps Charles was a bit of a gamble, since of the two there've been so far, one at least was not exactly a great success. While Philip of Spain was married to Queen Mary, that's probably a time that most people would prefer not to be reminded of, and Richard, too, isn't a great precedent, seeing what happened to Richard III. So George would seem a fairly safe bet, there've been loads of them.

Well done Coln you got it right!
