GETTING a skydiver to deliver the game ball to a hometown baseball game seemed like a great idea, until he took out the team's starting short stop.

Mattingly Romanin, who plays for the Hannibal Cavemen in Missouri, copped a kick to the face as one of three skydivers delivering baseballs to the game landed on the field
